QUANTUM MEDIA'S CHRISTINE ARRINGTON LED 13 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ON ILLUMINATING BUSINESS VISITS IN LONDON

Earlier this year, Quantum Media Principal Christine Arrington led 13 Utah State University (her alma mater) students majoring in business to meetings in London. NEAL SHAPIRO, CEO OF WNET IS JANUARY 15TH MEDIA GURU

Neal Shapiro, President and CEO of WNET leads one of the highest profile culture programmers in the U.S.. As the January Media Guru, he will discuss the company’s place in its community, in the country and among its media competitors. As CEO, Shapiro has made WNET more effective and more efficient since he took over.

During his tenure, Shapiro managed to set new fundraising records, increase local and national productions, expand distribution and stabilize the station's financial standing.Being both a media property and a non-profit used to be much rarer, than it has been recently.  So when Shapiro took his job seven years ago, he was ahead of the curve; now his record and management style have become a guide to the newer community media companies that are springing up.

For more information, or to sign up for the Media Guru breakfast where Shapiro will speak and answer questions, visit the Harvard Business School Club events page here.
