QUANTUM MEDIA'S CHRISTINE ARRINGTON LED 13 UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ON ILLUMINATING BUSINESS VISITS IN LONDON

In March, Quantum Media Principal Christine Arrington led 13 Utah State University (her alma mater) students majoring in business to meetings in London. Sanjay Patel, who heads up Apollo’s entire European business, shared that Apollo recently concluded there is not sufficient “rule of law” in China, Russia, or Ukraine to justify making new investments there!  Just when the rush to invest in China was barely cooling down!

The other eight visits also were filled with insights, from senior executives at Kantar Media, Barclay’s Bank, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Now-Casting Economics, Government Digital Services, United Business Media, and Nike Town. For the full story, go here

SREE SREENIVASAN, MET MUSEUM CDO

Sree Sreenivasan is the first Chief Digital Officer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art where he manages the Museum’s multi-platform efforts in digital, social, mobile, video and apps. He is the September Media Guru at the Harvard Business School Club.  The Media Guru programs are off-the-record in a "fireside chat" format with no Power Point presentations, so the audience can learn about things they haven't read or heard anywhere else.

Sreenivasan will share his vision about how the Met is using the virtual to enhance the physical, the role of social media and user-generated content, and how the institution tries to keep up with the latest technology and consumer trends. For more information, or to sign up for the breakfast, visit the Harvard Business School Club events page here
