Circling Back To: Lockhart Steele and Alexis Juneja

Curbed co-founders Lockhart Steele and Alexis Juneja had already presided over its growth from a blog to a successful digital media company in 2012, when they were featured speakers in Quantum's Media Disruptors series.
By the end of 2011, Curbed Network had launched national versions of Curbed and Eater. It was acquired by Vox Media in 2013. Steele remained at the company as Vox Media editorial director until 2017, when he was fired for sexual misconduct. In 2018, he started Five Blades, LCC, and describes his job there as "Chief Dreamer."
In recent years, Juneja has been SVP for areas including talent acquisition and development at renewable energy firm Arcadia, an angel investor and venture partner at NextGen Venture Partners, and a principal at Early Stage Advisors, working in strategic HR and advisory services to CEOs and senior team leaders.
